"Demelza's Dance" For Flute Choir
Demelza is the name of the feisty redhead character who is famously the spirited heroine in Winston Graham's Poldark novels. Made into a series on UK TV it was a massive hit.
Demelza's Dance is in bright playful 2/4 time in A minor. The middle section by contrast is in A major and is lyrical before returning to the A minor section then coda.

Arranged for 4 C flutes, Alto and Bass. I wanted to give a "tiered" level so it is accessible for a variety of standards. It has been carefully arranged so it has the more advanced work at the top two flutes ( 2 octave range) and is less demanding for flutes 3 and 4. Alto and bass however, provides interest and supporting lines.
I have placed it at intermediate level but the youtube link has the full score for you to judge suitability.
The full score is 13 pages without repeats- Flute pages are 3 and it is 4mins 30 in length.
Price is for the full score and parts.
